Sharp World Clock is a multi-clock utility created by Johannes Wallroth. The objective of the tool is to keep track of time in different places of the world using a series of clocks from your desktop.

You can add a great amount of clocks, but their view might be too obstructing, so you can minimize the application to the icon in the tray bar.

The great thing about this program is that you can configure basically anything in your view. You can set the clocks to be analog or digital, you can change fonts and colors as well. It also includes the flags of the countries, the images of which can be included in each clock, so you can identify the clock in a quicker way to see how much time in a given country.

There is also the option to add day/night indicators, sunrise, sunset and moon phases as well. There is also a world map where you can see the time zones. All this sounds very well, and you might as well spend $39 dollars for it, but remember that the Deskop Sidebar in Windows Vista/7 also includes the clock utility. Sharp World Clock is an excellent tool, in case you need such extra features for your desktop.

Pros

  • Highly configurable
